The Photoshop Elements Techniques newsletter has announced the start of a Halloween digital mask contest that ends midnight, Oct. 27 with the giveaway of a Wacom 4X5 Graphire tablet. KW Media Group, the parent company of the newsletter, said in a statement: "Contest participants are challenged to make the scariest, funniest, wackiest, or weirdest Halloween digital mask using Adobe Photoshop Elements software."
Entries should be no more than 800 pixels wide or high, whichever is longer, and should be submitted as JPG, GIF or PNG files no larger than 300K. All submissions will be published on the newsletteris Web site on Oct. 28, where the name of the winner will also be found.
Only Photoshop Elements Techniques subscribers may enter the contest. A one-year subscription to the newsletter, which is published eight times a year, is US$49.
