Ergonis Software announced the immediate availability of PopChar X 4.0 on Monday. The new version of the special character and typing utility added the ability to search for special characters without being limited to a specific font, and added Unicode 5.1 support.
Version 4 also added the ability to copy a characteris Unicode name, updated the applicationis appearance for Mac OS X 10.5, and more.
PopChar X 4.0 is priced at €29.99 (about US$46.43), and is available for download at the Ergonis Software Web site. The upgrade is free for users that purchased PopChar in the last two years.
