Printing: Web Receipts

If you use the Internet to make purchases on a regular basis, it can get difficult to keep track of everything you bought and just how much you have spent. Mac OS X can make that chore a little easier thanks to a cool printing feature that saves Web receipts as PDF documents.

After you complete your online purchase and see a Web page receipt, choose File > Print in your Web browser, and then select Save PDF to Web Receipts Folder. Now give your Web receipt a descriptive name, and click OK.

Web Receipts is hiding under the Print dialogis PDF button.

Mac OS X will save the Web page as a PDF and store it in the Web Receipts folder inside your Documents folder. Your Web receipts are nicely grouped together, searchable by Spotlight, and you can print them any time you want.
