Smartly Technologies has released QuicKeys X3 version 3.1, an update to its automation software that adds support for workflows created with Tigeris Automator feature and re-introduces SoftKeys, a translucent toolbar containing ten slots that can be assigned shortcuts. In addition, a new Open Items option enables users to quickly open applications and a new Action Palette provides searchable access to all shortcut types.
This is a free update for owners of version 3.0; users of previous versions will have to pay US$29.95. The full software is $99.95 and requires Mac OS X v10.3.9 or higher. Anyone who has the Macintosh Classic or Windows versions of the software can move to the new one for $69.95.
