QuickMix Updated With Expanded Export Options

Smiley Happy Software has released an update for QuickMix, bringing it to version 1.2. QuickMix is a utility designed for multi-track video editing. The update features expanded export options and other enhancements/bug fixes. According to Smiley Happy Software

Today Smiley Happy Software released QuickMix 1.2 for Mac OS X, an update to its multi-track video-editing application.

QuickMix is a video-editing application that specializes in multi-track movies. Tracks can be viewed and edited independently of each other and can be temporarily combined to be previewed or exported as a movie file. For example, if youire making a music video, you can edit the video track without affecting the sound track.

Among the changes in this version are a new registration system that makes basic features free, more robust exporting, and bug fixes and interface tweaks.

Specific changes since version 1.1:

  • Basic functionality is now free. Advanced features can be accessed by registering
  • Expanded export options: you can specify file format, compression settings, filter, size, and Internet streaming settings
  • The ability to export or save as a movie a single track in a document
  • Bug fixes and interface tweaks

You can find more information about the QuickMix update at the Smiley Happy Software Web site. The update is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$20.00.
