REAL Software announced on Tuesday that it is developing a multi-user relational database engine for REAlbasic, REAL SQL Server 2006. The new database engine will let REALbasic developers transition database applications from single-user to multi-user server based applications, improve reliability and performance for server based databases, and more.
REALbasic users with a current update plan are eligible to participate in beta testing. REAL SQL Server 2006 should be available in the first half of 2006. Pricing information is currently unavailable.
