REAL Software on Tuesday shipped REALbasic 2005 Release 2, adding a new property, Computed Property, that automatically provides Get and Set methods. Other new features include a Focus property in the Window class that returns that currently active window control, support for simultaneously sorting multiple arrays in the Array class and the ability to create default values for user-defined class properties.
In addition, the ComboBox class exposes new properties that provide parity with the Edit field. All REALbasic 2005 users can download this update for free. Pricing for the full version starts at US$99.95, with a Professional Edition, which is required for cross-platform software deployment, starting at $399.95.
