Ricoh Adds New Networkable Printers to Its Line-Up

Ricoh Corp. has introduced the Aficio CL7200 and Aficio CL7300, a pair of new color laser printers that support multiple print languages, including Adobe PS3, PCL 5c, PCL 6 and RCPS, along with Ethernet, USB 2.0 and wireless connectivity. Purchasers can configure their orders with customized paper handling features that include a booklet finisher and hole punch and stapling. Both printers can handle up to 3,100 sheets.

The Aficio CL7200 (US$3,495) can produce 28 ppm (pages per minute) in color and 32 ppm in black-and-white while the Aficio CL7300 ($5,095) can print 35 ppm in color and 35 ppm in black-and-white. Both printers can maintain those speeds while producing double-sided pages in duplex mode. Both printers also include SmartDeviceMonitor, software that encrypts print jobs via Internet Printing Protocol (IPP). In addition, theyire expandable with Ricohis IS300 Image Scanner, which offers scan-to-email, scan-to-folder, scan-to-FTP, TWAIN scanning and scan-to-print capabilities.
