Scottish Bank Blows Off Mac Support For Online Services

S cottish Mac users doing business with the Halifax Bank of Scotland should go elsewhere with their banking business. The Inquirer (UK) noted that the bank has summarily blown off Mac users for its new and improved, we use the word loosely, online services. Better yet, the message comes to Mac using customers via its FAQ, in a rather off-handed fashion. The last entry into the serviceis FAQ says:

[Q]I currently use an Apple Mac to access my accounts on Internet Banking, will I be able to access the new online service using my Apple Mac?
[A]The online service has not been developed or tested using Apple Macintosh machines and as such they are not currently supported.

You can find the full FAQ at the bankis Web site. Thanks to Observer F. Scott for his note to us about the Inquirer article.
