Shapiro Consulting Group, Inc. has announced the upcoming release of Asiva Shift+Gain Component for Photoshop. Asiva Shift+Gain is a Photoshop plug-in designed for color changing without using masks. According to Shapiro Consulting Group:
Shapiro Consulting Group, Inc., has completed development of a third plug-in for Adobe Photoshop.
The plug-in, called Asiva Shift+Gain Component, is currently under final testing. The new plug-in will be previewed at the upcoming Photoshopworld tradeshow in Miami.
The Asiva Shift+Gain Component plug-in is based on SCGIis patented image enhancement technology, allowing for users to perform color changes without time-consuming masks. It features all 16-bit per component internal processing, even on 8-bit images. This provides 256 times the bandwidth and precision of 8-bit processing.Using Asivais proprietary curves technology, users are able to make near perfect selections based on the Hue, Saturation and Luminance components of the image and then very accurately adjust the Hue, Saturation, Value and RGB/CMYK components of that selection. Asivais curves also allow for filter roll-offs so all effects appear completely natural and a built in Color Sampler Tool provides a good starting-point for setting the three curves.
