Dejal Systems has released an update for Simon, bringing it to version 1.2. Simon is a site monitoring app designed for checking the status of Web and FTP sites. The update features expanded test types and other enhancements. According to Dejal Systems:

It checks sites for changes or failures, and notifies you via e-mail, sound, speech, or other means. You can use it to track updated sites, and to alert you when an important site goes down or recovers. Developed in Cocoa, it is a native Mac OS X application with an intuitive and attractive Aqua interface.
New in this release are Ping, DNS, and Application test kinds, an Automatically Pause Test feature, a redesigned and improved test configuration sheet, and several other enhancements and fixes.
