Aspyr Media on Friday announced that its upcoming The Sims 2 expansion pack, Sims 2 University, is available for pre-order, with a product page now live on its Web site. Aspyr expects to ship the game next month with a US$34.99 price tag.
This addition to the popular "people simulator" includes the young adult age group, which enables Sims to head off to college. Collegiate Sims can vie to become the Big Sim on Campus, earn one of 11 types of degrees that open one of four new careers when they return home as adults, join fraternities and sororities, pull off pranks and more. The expansion pack features a college town setting as well as more than 100 new objects and decor items.
Aspyr has not announced system requirements yet, aside from the fact that The Sims 2 will be required to install the University expansion pack.
