CASE Apps announced the immediate availability of Sofa Control 1.0 on Friday. Sofa Control uses the Apple Remote included with Intel-based Macs to control your applications. Itis AppleScript-based, so users can develop their own control scripts, and developers can add Sofa Control support to their applications, too. It includes support for Eye TV, Preview, iTunes, Adobe Reader, Keynote, VLC, Quicktime Player, Powerpoint, NetNewsWire, and more.
Sofa Control is available for download at the CASE Apps Web site, and is priced at US$9.99.
