Spiderweb Software Catches Avernum Bugs In An Update Web

Spiderweb Software has released an update for Avernum 3, bringing it to version 1.1.4. Avernum 3 is a fantasy/role playing game where the player has the choice of saving the world, or enjoy watching it crumble. The update fixes OS X bugs. According to Spiderweb Software:

Spiderweb Software, a maker of fantasy role-playing games for the Macintosh, has released a new version of its fantasy role-playing epic, Avernum 3. This update bumps the game up to v1.1.4.

Avernum 3 features an enormous scenario, with well over 100 towns, villages and dungeons. There is a fascinating story and a dynamic world which changes as time passes. Refugees move from town to town. People die. If nothing is done, towns will crumble into dust.

The new version fixes a number of small problems, makes the game run more smoothly on OS X, and deals with some mysterious software incompatibilities that have afflicted it.

You can find more information about the Avernum 3 update at the Spiderweb Software Web site. Avernum 3 v1.1.4 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$25.00.
