Stamps.com Announces PhotoStamps for Mac OS X Tiger

Stamps.com announced Wednesday the launch of PhotoStamps for Mac, an electronic postage system that lets consumers turn digital photos, designs or images into valid U.S. postage.

The standalone application will be available later this month, the company said, and integrates the design and order process with images in a users iPhoto library.

PhotoStamps for Mac will offer unlimited color options for borders as well as additional image effects under Mac OS X Tiger. PhotoStamps can create customized postage with virtually any picture, which can be used as regular postage to send letters, postcards or packages and are currently available for the most common mail rates in denominations ranging from $0.23 to $3.85. Each sheet includes 20 individual PhotoStamps.

Stamps.com has over 375,000 customers. The Company targets its services to smallbusinesses and home offices, and currently has partnerships with companiesincluding Microsoft, CompUSA, EarthLink, HP, NCR, Office Depot, Vendio and theU.S. Postal Service.
