AppleStudentDevelopers.org has announced that only one week remains for the "iPod Breakout Contest". The contest is based on the Breakout game that can be played on the iPod. The highest scorers will be eligible for gift certificates and other prizes. According to ASD:
AppleStudentDevelopers.org (ASD) today announced that only one week remains to submit new score entry submissions for the ASD iPod Breakout Contest. The website, created by students for students, is holding the contest as part of a promotion to attract students and other Mac enthusiasts to the ASD site, launched several weeks ago.
The current scoreboard leaders will be tough to dethrone, but Amazon.com gift certificates in the amounts of $30, $10 and $5 will be waiting for those who succeed. Furthermore, prizes will be given away to a few random contestants just for entering. iPod owners are invited to play some Breakout and send their scores to AppleStudentDevelopers.org for a chance to win a top spot and top dollar on the score list, or one of two random $5 Amazon.com gift certificates.
You can find more information about the "iPod Breakout Contest" at the AppleStudentDevelopers.org Web site.
