Asian PC maker Synnex Technology International Corp. announced Tuesday it will bundle Appleis iTunes Music Store software with its laptop and desktop, Windows-based personal computers.
DigiTimes Publications reported the Chinese-language newspaper Commercial Times as saying Synnex made the formal announcement on November 10. The plan is to bundle iTMS on all its LEMEL brand PCs.
Synnex is a Taiwan-based wholesaler and distributor of computer parts, personal computer, computer peripheral and computer software. Other activities include the manufacture of wireless and car phone, mobile phone and spare parts. The Group has its operations in Taiwan, Asia, Australia and Hong Kong serving 20,000 customers and 16,000 dealers. Synnex is the largest IT products distributor in Asia and the Asia Pacific as well as the largest distributor of cellular phones in Taiwan.
Founded in 1988, Synnex began selling it own branded PCs under the name LEMEL in 1989.
