Thank Santa For The Gifts Via Email

If Then Software has released an update for eSanta, bringing it to version 1.2. eSanta is a pseudo-internet utility designed to simulate sending emails to the jolly fellow up north. The update features a thank-you Santa function. According to If Then Software:

Just a reminder now that we are closing in on the holiday season:

eSanta 1.2 is a freeware Mac OS X application that will allow your children to email Santa Claus without the use of the Internet. The program simulates connecting to the "Santaputer" at the North Pole with connection progress bars, and will then send your children back a customized letter that he or she can print, or use the onboard speech to speak.

eSanta solves the problem of not receiving a reply email from St. Nick by formulating a customized response to your children each and every time. The program also displays the remaining days until Christmas.

New in 1.2 is a "Thank Santa" feature that will allow children to send a thank you note to Santa.

You can find more information about the eSanta update at the If Then Software Web site. eSanta 1.2 is available as donationware.
