T he Democrat and Chronicle, a Rochester, NY newspaper, is reporting that Steve Wozniak will be speaking at a local college tonight. According to the paper, the event is being hosted by the Rochester Apple CIDER organization, and will take place at the Monroe Community College auditorium at 7PM EST. Tickets are available for US$5.00 for students and members, and US$10.00 for the general public.
Mr. Wozniak will be discussing his new company, Wheels of Zeus. Launched in early 2002 to moderate fanfare, the company made headlines again this summer with its first announced product, a wireless network for tracking pets (and people) called WozNet. Not so coincidentally, WozNet will be the source of discussion at tonightis event.
