Tonight: Bob "Dr. Mac" Levitus Addresses the "State of the Mac"

For those living in striking distance of Austin, TX -- and for anyone else who really wants a chance to see writer Bob "Dr. Mac" Levitus in the flesh -- today is your lucky day. Bob will be delivering his annual "State of the Macintosh" address at tonightis Capitol Macintosh meeting.

Bob will be presenting his favorite applications, games, and utilities for the Macintosh, as well as showing off unique features of Appleis iSight and iPod, and El Gato Systemis EyeHome digital media player.

For those unfamiliar with Bob "Dr. Mac" Levitus, he is one of the worldis leading authorities on the Macintosh. He has written almost 50 best-selling computer books including his newest titles, "Garage Band for Dummies" and "Mac OS X For Dummies, Panther Edition." His books have sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide, and have been translated into more than a dozen languages. Oh, and heis also the columnist behind keyboard for TMOis "Rants and Raves."

The meeting will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Thursday December 9th, in the University of Texas Pharmacy Building, Room 3.106, on University Street, between 24th and Dean Keeton. Members and non-members alike are welcome to attend.
