Universal Shake Coming in May

Apple Computer announced at NAB this week that it will release Shake 4.1 as a Universal Binary application in May. According to Macworld, the application was demonstrated on an Intel Core Duo iMac, indicating that it gets a major performance boost once freed from the G5 processor that is still used in the Power Mac G5.

Shake is Appleis professional visual effects and compositing application for film and television. It is priced at US$2,999. Cross-grade pricing for current Shake 4 users has not been announced.
