Using Keyboard Shortcuts While Switching Applications

Command-Tab is a great short cut for jumping from application to application without using your mouse, and it lets you use other keyboard shortcuts, too. For example, if Safari, iTunes and Mail are all running, you can hide, show, or quit any of the applications while using Command-Tab. Hereis how:

    - Command-Tab to one of your open applications, but donit release the Command key.
    - While still holding down the Command key, press Q to quit the application, or H to hide it.

You can continue to Command-Tab to other open applications and hide or quit them as well.
