Virtix Shipping Arsenal Plug-In For iMovie

Virtix, Inc. has released a new app for iMovie users, Virtix Arsenal. Arsenal is a plug-in designed to expand the standard iMovie effects feature set. The app fetures keyframe control for moving graphics and supports other Virtix plug-in effects. According to Virtix:

Virtix, Inc. announces the immediate availability of Virtix Arsenal.

Virtix Arsenal for iMovie allows you to place special effects at a position on the screen and change that position over time, using a technique called keyframing. You can use this technique to make the effect match up with your scene as the camera moves or as the objects in the scene move, adding a
professional realism to the effect.

The Laser and Machine Gun effects have controls that allow you to add realistic 3D perspective to your iMovie masterpiece. You can use the movable, keyframeable positions in Virtix Arsenal with the Arrow, Spotlight and Witness Protection effects to draw attention to a person or hide their identity, and move the effect as they move.

Virtix Arsenal is an iMovie plugin with its own custom user interface that you can use inside iMovie. Just option-click on the effect in the iMovie effect palette and a dialog box will come up that allows you apply an effect and change its position over time. Since all this capability is wrapped up in a single effect, your iMovie palette is not cluttered up with an excessive number of additional effects.

You can find more information about the Virtix Arsenal release at the Virtix, Inc. Web site. Virtix Arsenal is available for US$34.99.
