WWDC: PlayFirst's Diner Dash Comes to the Mac

PlayFirst has announced at Appleis Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) the release of the Mac version of Diner Dash, a game that puts the player to work slinging meals to customers while trying to grow a roadside diner into a five-star restaurant. Gamers take on the role of Flo, a former stock broker who quits her day job to try her hand as a restaurateur.

The game features 50 levels that track a course through four restaurant re-models, with five different types of customers -- each with unique behaviors -- to contend with, Career and Endless Shift modes of play, high score tracking and automatic game saves. Tips earned from satisfied customers enable players to not only implement re-models but also improve the current establishment.

Diner Dash is available as a 60-minute trial so that players can test it before spending US$19.95 on it. Mac OS X v10.2 or higher is required.
