Wacom Liquidating Serial Based Graphics Tablets

Wacom has announced that they are holding a sale on their remaining stock of serial-based graphic tablets. With the wide-spread adoption of USB technology, serial products are now in less demand, thus Wacom is offering their serial-based products at huge discounts. According to Wacom:

Because many PC users have converted to USB ports, resulting in less demand for graphics tablets with serial connections, Wacom Technology Corp. said today it is holding an overstock liquidation sale for all of its Intuos serial tablets for PCs.

The overstock liquidation sale begins today and will continue until May 31st on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Overstock liquidation prices for new Intuos PC serial tablets range from $99.99 for a 4x5 active area, regularly $179 street price, to $399.99 for a 12x18 active area, regularly $659.00.

Refurbished units are available in all sizes except 4x5. Prices range from $129.99 for a 6x8 active area, regularly $229.00 street price, to $329.99 for a 12x18 active area, regularly $529.00 street price.
