iEntertainment Network on Wednesday announced that WarBirds 2006 is now available for download. The new version of the World War II air combat game features a new role-playing system, a revamped user interface, over 100 different aircraft and vehicles, and other 35 other new features and functions.
WarBirds 2006 is a Universal Binary that runs on a Mac with a 900MHz or faster processor, Mac OS X v10.2.8, 256MB RAM (512MB recommended), and 64MB Video RAM. A HID-compatible joystick is recommended. Gamers can play for free for two weeks before having to spend US$13.95 a month.
