Blizzard Entertainment has announced it is accepting applications to be beta testers for the upcoming release of Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Only 10,000 testers will be accepted for the beta testing role and a Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos Key is required. According to Blizzard Entertainment:
Beginning Friday morning, February 14th, individuals will have the opportunity to log on and register for their chance to be one of 10,000 players chosen to play-test Warcraft III®: The Frozen Throne(tm). These players will be the first to experience the new Expansion to Warcraft® III: Reign of Chaos(tm).
The beta signup is scheduled for a seven-day period beginning at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8.) on Friday, February 14th and ending at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8) on Friday, February 21st. Applicants must be at least thirteen (13) years of age, have the bandwidth capability to download 100 MB of data, have a valid email address, and possess a valid Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos CD-Key to be eligible to enter the beta test.
Following the registration period, we will randomly select 10,000 testers to participate in the initial phase of the expansion beta test. Please note that multiple submissions will result in disqualification.
