Washington MUG Elects First Woman President

The Washington Apple Pi MUG has announced a new club President following the groupis recent elections. Pat Fauquet, a volunteer and member, is now the first woman President of the club in itis 25 year history. According to Washington Apple Pi MUG:

It’s true! For the first time in its more than 25 year history, Washington Apple Pi - a Macintosh User Group in the Washington, DC region - has its first woman President. Pat Fauquet, a long-time WAP member and volunteer took over the baton from Lorin Evans following the club’s recent elections.

Fauquet has already been busy making sure the club’s Board of Directors is complete and getting her agenda ready for the coming year. Fauquet says “My top priority is refocusing the energy of our present volunteers and finding new volunteers to revitalize our current programs.” She adds that she wants to look at ways of growing the club’s membership, improving communications and helping to increase the activities of WAP’s Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
