Adobe released an update for Flash on Tuesday with patches for what it called critical issues. Like so many other flaws Adobe has already patched, those addressed in this update could let attackers remotely take control of your computer.

Adobe says Flash version 20.0.0.235 and earlier for Mac and Windows are susceptible to the threats, as is 20.0.0.228 and earlier for ChromeOS, and 11.2.202.554 for Linux.

If you still need Flash installed on your Mac, be sure to apply this update right away. If not, consider uninstalling the software to avoid potential hacker attacks. You can check out the full list of flaws in Adobe's security bulletin.
