Apple has dedicated its home page—one of the most highly-trafficked properties on the Internet—to counting down the hours and minutes until its September 9th media event. The company is expected to unveil the iPhone 6, its first foray into wearables (a.k.a. "iWatch"), a mobile payment system, and a better look at new features in both iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite.

Technically, Apple is redirecting apple.com to apple.com/live, for those keeping score at home.
The Mac Observer will provide live coverage from the Flint Center, where Apple's event is taking place. As noted in the screenshot, that event begins at 10:00 PM PDT, on Tuesday, September 9th.
