One of the special events that goes along with the first day of Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference every year is the announcement of the Apple Design Award winners. This year's winners includes Fantastical 2, Shadowmatic, Workflow, and more.
Apple Design Awards for 2015
Apple picks the winning apps based on how creative and innovative they are, design aesthetics, and functionality. This year's winners are in interesting collection of utilities and games, educational tools, as well as a cool vector image editor. Here's the full list:

- Metamorphabet from Vectorpark
- Robinhood from Robinhood Markets
- Affinity Designer from Serif
- Crossy Road from Hipster Whale
- Fantastical 2 from Flexibits
- Workflow from DeskConnect
- Does Not Commute from Mediocre
- Vainglory from Super Evil Megacorp
- Pacemaker from Pacemaker Music
This year, Apple gave out ADA trophies to two student winners:
