Apple quietly added Apple Pencil replacement tips to the online Apple Store on Monday, finally addressing the problem of lost or worn out nibs. The tips are removable and can wear out, replacements haven't been an option until now even though Apple Pencil went on sale last September.
Apple Pencil replacement tips now available online
Apple Pencil ships with two nibs, so there is a single replacement included. When Apple first started selling its stylus, the company said extra tips would be available, but until now that meant hoping the Genius Bar had a couple spares on hand.
The replacement tips are available in a four-pack for US$19. They're shipping now, and will likely be in Apple's retail stores soon, too.
