Apple turned on its figurative holiday lights on Tuesday with the launch of its annual gift guide section on the online Apple Store. The guide doesn't include special discounts, although it does offer gift ideas from the online store.
Apple's 2012 holiday gift guide
This year Apple is highlighting the brand new iPad mini, the Squire by Fender USB Stratocaster guitar, Parrot's AR.Drone 2.0 remote control helicopter, Crayola's DigiTools Pack for the iPad, and more. Apple also has a one-day sale on Black Friday, the day after the U.S.Thanksgiving holiday, where the company offers discounts on a long list of items and typically includes Macs on that list, too.
