Apple Seeds 3rd Developer Release for iOS 9, El Capitan, watch OS 2

Apple on Wednesday seeded the third developer releases of iOS 9 (build 13A4293f), OS X 10.12 El Capitan (build 15A216g), and watch OS 2 (build 13S5293e). The new releases include a new two-factor authentication system for iOS 9 and El Capitan, the News app and Apple Music in iOS 9. Release notes for this watch OS 2 version have not been published.

iOS 9 Beta 3

There are three major inclusions in the iOS 9 release: a new two-factor authentication system we are covering separately; the News app; and access to Apple Music.

In addition, Apple has updated the folder view on iPad to display a 4 x 4 grid, rather than 3 x 3. Developers will also find dedicated folders for selfies and screenshots in their Photos app.

Like iOS 9, this release of El Capitan includes the new two-factor authentication system we are covering in a separate piece. The Photos app also has the new folders for selfies and screenshots.
