Apple Store App gets Synchronized Shopping, More

Apple rolled out an update to its Apple Store app for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch this week that added the ability to start shopping on one device, and continue on another. The version 3.0 update also revamped the app interface for the iPhone and iPod touch so it more closely matches the iPad version.

The update's synchronized shopping feature lets users start a shopping session on any of their devices such as their iPhone, and then jump to another device, like their iPad or Mac, and continue shopping before completing purchases. The iPad version of the app also added support for scheduling One to One appointments.

Version 3.0 includes a new Stores section where it's easier to look for upcoming events at your local Apple Store.

The Apple Store app is free and is available at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
