Apple released Apple Store 2.6 for the iPhone and iPod touch on Tuesday, adding the ability to receive notifications when iPhone owners are eligible for upgrades. The APple Store app lets users purchase products, set up in-store appointments, and more.

Along with iPhone upgrade eligibility notifications, version 2.6 also added notification for order shipments and deliveries. What it still doesn't offer, however, is an iPad-native interface.
