Apple's online store was replaced with the usual "We'll be back" message ahead of Thursday morning's media event. The company is expected to introduce updated iPad models, announce the launch date for Apple Pay, and possibly unveil updated MacBook Pro models and a new Apple TV.
Apple's online store is closed ahead of today's media event
The iPhone and iPad maker sent out media invitations a week ago with a tag line saying "It's been way too long," and nothing else to hint at what will be announced. Rumors have pointed to the expected hardware updates, and a user guide that appeared on the iBookstore showed new iPad Air and iPad mini models.
Apple's media event is set to start at 10AM pacific time this morning. Be sure to check in with The Mac Observer for our live coverage and analysis.
