Apple TV gets Live Stream Channel for Sept 9 Media Event

Apple's Special Events channel appeared again on Apple TV Tuesday morning leading up to the company's media presentation at the Flint Center in Cupertino. The channel will live stream today's iPhone 6 and iWatch launch, and includes recordings from past events, too.

The media event is invitation-only, but Apple will be streaming the highly anticipated presentation via its Apple TV channel and from its website. The Special Events channel shows up automatically on second and third generation Apple TVs, so there isn't any need for software updates or device restarts.
