Apple ramped up its music creation efforts for the iPhone and iPad on Wednesday with the introduction of Live Loops for mobile GarageBand. The loops are included with the GarageBand 2.1 update and include rock, electronic dance music, house, and electro funk, and more.

The 2.1 update also includes the Drummer feature already available in LogicPro X and GarageBand 10 on the Mac, as well as a new streamlined EQ, updated recording controls, and new automation support.
GarageBand is free with iOS decices with at least 32GB of storage, or for US$4.99 on the App Store. The update is free and requires iOS 9 or newer.
