Apple's website isn't the only place where you can buy an Apple Watch. The company launched in store sales Thursday morning, finally giving customers shopping for a new smartwatch the opportunity for some instant gratification.
Apple Watch is now available for in store purchase
Apple Watch pre-orders sold in only minutes on April 10 and many early buyers didn't get theirs on the April 24 launch date. Apple has been processing orders as quick as it can, although some shoppers have been waiting weeks for their watch to show up.
Inventory constraints are, however, easing. Apple is ready to start selling its smartwatch in more countries, and as of now you can walk in to your local Apple Store and buy one. That said, inventories may be limited in Apple's stores and some models, like the Space Black stainless steel Apple Watch won't be available yet.
Apple retail VP Angela Ahrendts shared her thoughts about in store availabilty on Twitter saying, "So excited, customers around the world can purchase Apple Watch at our stores today; a great experience."
