Apple released Firmware Restoration CD 1.4 on Thursday. The new version supports several Intel-based Mac models including the mid 2007 MacBook and the 8-core Mac Pro.
The Firmware Restoration CD returns a Macis firmware to a previous version in the event that an update failed. It does not, however, "roll back" firmware when a firmware update completed successfully.
Macs supported by Firmware Restoration CD 1.4 include:

- Mac Pro (8-core) MacPro2,1
