Apple is planning on opening its 12th U.K. store on Saturday, two new store openings for 9:00AM on Saturday, September 22. The Touchwood Centre store in Solihull will both sport the usual amenities including a Genius Bar and One to One shopping.
Apple is planning a week long series of events to celebrate the Grand Opening, free training events and free prizes including T-shirts for the first 1000 visitors. One lucky winner will walk away with the grand prize that includes a black 13-inch 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo MacBook, a one-year One to One membership, a 4GB silver iPod nano, iWork i08, a one-year membership to .Mac, and an AppleCare Protection Plan for MacBook. Ten First Prize winners each will receive a one-year One to One membership.
