Apple Updates MacBook: Faster Processors, Larger Hard Drives

Apple Inc. announced Tuesday an update to the MacBook line. The company introduced new models with 2.1 and 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo processors and 120-250 GB hard drive options. As before, the company is offering two models in White, with a Black model available only in the fastest configuration. All of the models ship with 2 GB of RAM standard, with 4 GB available as a build-to-order option.

The MacBook uses the Intel Graphics Accelerator X3100 for graphics, a chipset that uses a shared-memory scheme instead of dedicated video RAM. All of the models come with a built-in iSight camera, 802.11n AirPort, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, and Sudden Motion Sensors in the hard drives.
