Apple’s Free iPhone 4 Case Program Ends Sept 30

Apple’s free iPhone 4 case program wraps up at the end of the day on Thursday, but that doesn’t mean procrastinators are out in the cold. Customers that buy an iPhone 4 today can still participate because they have 30 days to submit their claim.

The Apple Web site states “For iPhone 4 purchases made before July 23, 2010, you must apply no later than August 22, 2010; otherwise, you must apply within 30 days of your iPhone 4 purchase. To qualify for this program, you must purchase your iPhone 4 by September 30, 2010.”

Apple’s free iPhone 4 case deal ends Sept 3

Apple launched the free iPhone 4 case program in response to complaints about dropped signal bars when the lower left corner of the phone was covered by user’s hands. The cases add just enough space between the antenna and your hand to reduce the potential problem.

Buyers that purchase an iPhone on October 1 or later aren’t out of luck even though the official free case program ends today. “Users experiencing antenna issues should call AppleCare to request a free Bumper case,” the company said.
