BMW Sauber F1 Game Races to the App Store

Artificial Life, Inc. has released BMW Sauber F1 Team Racing 09 to the App Store. Players get behind the wheel as real-life racers Nick Heidfeld or Robert Kubica and race on tracks in China, England, Japan, Germany, and other countries.

Between races, players can optimize their vehicles' performance by customizing various configurations. Racing options are customizable too, including weather conditions, difficulty level, and more. Game modes include Professional, in which players seek world record lap times and Championship, in which they chase 10 racing trophies.

An in-app upgrade package for purchase offers two challenges -- trying to pull off the most extreme moves in the Donut challenge and racing against the clock in the Pit Stop challenge -- as well as a new game mode, Engineer, in which players work behind the scenes to tell their drivers how fast to drive and how to configure their vehicles.
