Coladia Releases Secrets of Da Vinci Mystery Game for Mac

Coladia on Friday released the Mac OS X version of The Secrets of Da Vinci: The Forbidden Manuscript, a game in which players take the role of a Da Vinci disciple apprentice who is contacted by a mysterious person asking him to find one of the great artist's missing manuscripts.

Players begin their search in Da Vinci's last residence and move on to other locations, encountering a cast of characters that includes the King of France. Coladia promises meticulously researched environments spread across the game's 14 chapters, with dozens of puzzles, an interactive inventory system, a journal for tracking objectives and sketching characters encountered, and a game within the game.

The Secrets of Da Vinci also features a good or evil system that judges players' actions as positive or negative, leading to one of four possible endings. The game sells for US$29.90 and requires Mac OS X version 10.4, a 1.6GHz Intel or G5 processor, 512MB RAM, and 2GB free hard drive space.
