MacTech magazine announced Wednesday that Guy Kawasaki will be delivering the keynote address at MacTech Conference 2011. The event takes place November 2-4 at the Sheraton Universal in Los Angeles, CA, and is aimed at Mac and iOS developers and IT pros.
Mr. Kawasaki is famous in Mac circles for his work with Apple in the 1990s as the company’s Chief Evangelist. He helped generate much of the fervor surrounding Apple, rallying fans to support the company in the face of criticism at a time when Apple was anything but the media darling it is today.
Since then, he’s written many books on marketing, his experiences at Apple, being an entrepreneur, and other topics. His latest title is Enchantment: The Art of Changing Hearts, Minds, and Actions, released in March of 2011.
MacTech Conference is an annual event that offers two tracks, one for developers and one for IT pros and those in the enterprise space. In addition to the sessions and training courses, Apple certification tests are offered, and pricing for the event includes all meals.
Early Bird registration is US$799, while on-site registration is $1,299.
