Infinity Blade II, the followup to the popular Infinity Blade game, hit Apple’s App Store on Thursday. The new game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch was previewed during Apple’s iPhone 4S introduction event this fall, and offers high quality graphics and more places to slash and hack your way through enemies.

Infinity Blade II takes players on a quest to discover the secrets behind the Infinity Blade with new 3D environments, new combat styles with weapons, armor and spells, dynamically changing locations, and more.
The game is optimized for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2, although it is compatible with the iPhone 3GS and newer, the original iPad, and the third and fourth generation iPod touch.
Infinity Blade II is priced at US$6.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
