As promised, iOS 8.2 for the iPhone and iPad was released Monday following Apple's "spring forward" media event where Apple Watch and the new ultra-thin MacBook were shown off. iOS 8.2 includes support for the soon to ship Apple Watch, and sports a new Apple Watch app.
ioS 8.2 with Apple Watch support available now
To install the new iOS update, you'll need a compatible device. That includes the iPhone 4s and newer, iPad 2 or newer, iPad Air and iPad Air 2, all iPad mini models, and the fifth generation iPod touch.
You can update to iOS 8.2 by tapping Settings > General > Software Update. The update weighs in under 300MB, so it shouldn't take too long to download and install, assuming Apple's servers can keep up with the demand.
