It’s not a shocking piece of information, but the iOS 5.1 Beta 3 currently in the hands of developers contains the “About Dictation and Privacy” information for Siri in the Settings app’s Keyboard section. The tip comes from 9to5 Mac, which noted that the same information “is also appearing on retina iPod touches as well.”
However, Siri isn’t functional on the iPad 2 where this was discovered, so it’s not clear if the feature will be on certain iPad and/or iPod touch models when iOS 5.1 is released. As 9to5 Mac pointed out, it could be an iPad 3-exclusive feature, much like Siri is on the iPhone 4S.
